We built a tool that makes the enormous source of information in court rulings accessible to everyone in the legal field. Successfully: Feitlijn is now used daily for free by hundreds of lawyers, attorneys, and students who want to work faster and more effectively with case law.

We use AI technology to apply text analysis to case law in a new way. The system automatically analyzes the structure, argumentation, and chronology of rulings, and presents them visually. The essence of a ruling becomes immediately visible: a timeline maps out the chronology, legal analysis structures core arguments, and the case route shows connections with related rulings.

This gives you insight in minutes where traditionally much more time was needed.

Besides technology, human expertise also makes Feitlijn distinctive. We have created a social layer in which leading lawyers compile collections of rulings and provide expert commentary.

This combination of AI-driven analysis and human expertise creates a deeper understanding of jurisprudence. This is legal innovation in practice: technology that does not replace, but strengthens.
