Clarification of complex issues

A jumble of terms such as "attachment," "third-party effect," "the fixing effect of bankruptcy," and "conditions for access to debt restructuring. This was the challenge faced by students at The Hague University of Applied Sciences during the Business Law course. Together with the Hogeschool, we developed a visual toolkit to untangle this legal knot: unique visual educational material.

Our mission was simple but ambitious: To transform dry legal texts into a vivid, visual and interactive learning experience.

Testing by students and teachers

The visuals were developed in collaboration with teachers at The Hague University of Applied Sciences so that the content seamlessly matched the curriculum. Students and teachers tested the visuals, after which adjustments were made to improve usability and content.

It gave me insight as to which law articles should be applied at what point in the case.

Successful result

The result was a success. Students indicated that the visual elements helped them better understand the material and that they enjoyed using the visuals during their studies. The visuals are available to all law students at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
